Design your own Dream Bedroom! Part 2 **video has been added below**
Tuesday, April 14
Now that you have completed designing your dream bedroom, we need to buy everything to bring it to life! Or at least research what it would cost you to bring it to life. You can use the websites below to help you find the costs of everything you put in the room.
You need to find the cost of:
Flooring (carpet or wood)
Paint (two cans should do for your bedroom)
Baseboards (go along the bottom perimeter of the room)
Bed and any other furniture
To find your costs, watch the video of Mr. V finding the costs for his dream bedroom.
Websites:
https://www.greatfloors.ca/flooring-calculator/
First pick your flooring type, then click on a store to see prices of their flooring
https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/categories/building-materials/moulding-and-millwork/moulding/baseboard-moulding.html
**96 inches = 12 feet lengths
Figure out how many baseboards you will need, then calculate the cost
https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/rooms/bedroom/
https://www.thebrick.com/collections/furniture-bedroom-bedroom-packages
Find the costs of your bedroom furniture, bed, etc
You are welcome to find your own websites if you do not like what you see, or are looking for something that I have not included.
**Please find a grand total for everything you would be purchasing for your dream bedroom and include it in your work**
Try to have this assignment completed by Thursday, April 16. Do not email to Mr. V, instead I will show you how to put this into your OneNote binder.
